Power Prompts Lab is a learning service that helps you build confidence with AI through short, friendly lessons. Everything we collect serves that purpose and nothing more. This page explains, in plain language, what information we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. If anything here is unclear, just email us — we are happy to explain.

1. What information we collect

Power Prompts Lab exists to help you learn practical AI skills, and we only collect what we need to do that well. It comes down to four things:

  • Your account details — your name and email address, handled by a trusted, secure sign-in service. We never see or store your password.
  • Your learning details — the answers you give in the welcome questions (like your age group and how comfortable you feel with AI), which lessons you have finished, and your quiz results. We use these to greet you properly and keep your place.
  • Your payment details — handled entirely by a leading, secure payment provider. Your card number never touches our systems. We only keep a record of whether your subscription is active.
  • How you use the app — which pages you visit and which lessons you start and finish. This helps us understand what is working and what to improve.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • Keep you signed in and keep your lesson progress safe.
  • Personalise your experience — for example, greeting you by name and remembering your preferred lesson length.
  • Take payments and manage your subscription.
  • Understand which lessons people enjoy and finish, so we can make the course better.
  • Reply when you contact us for help.

We do not sell your information to anyone, and we do not use it for advertising.

3. Who we share it with

We share your information only with the small number of trusted services that keep the app running, and only as much as each one needs:

  • A secure sign-in service — so you can create an account and log in safely.
  • A secure payment provider — so your subscription can be paid for safely.
  • A secure database and hosting service — so your lesson progress and preferences are stored reliably.
  • A privacy-respecting analytics service — so we can see how lessons are used and make them better.

Each of these providers is bound by strict privacy and security commitments. Beyond them, we never share your details with anyone unless the law requires it.

4. Cookies

Cookies are small files a website saves on your device so it can remember things between visits. We use them, along with your browser's own storage, for three purposes only:

  • To keep you signed in, so you don't have to type your password every time.
  • To recognise you as the same visitor when you come back, so our usage statistics are accurate and we can see which lessons help people most.
  • To hold small, temporary details while you get set up — for example, your welcome answers before you create your account.

We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

5. How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as you have an account, so your progress is always there when you come back. If you delete your account, we remove your personal details from our systems. Payment records may be kept longer where tax and accounting laws require it.

6. Your choices and rights

You are always in control of your information. You can:

  • See and update your details — your email address can be changed any time from Settings.
  • Ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct anything that is wrong.
  • Ask us to delete your account and your information.

To do any of these, just email us at hello@powerpromptslab.com and we will help, no forms, no fuss. Depending on the state or country you live in, these rights may also be protected by law — for example, California's privacy law (the CCPA) and similar laws in other US states. We honour these requests for everyone, wherever you live.

If you live in California: the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) gives you specific legal rights. You can ask us what personal information we have collected about you, where it came from, and how we use it. You can ask us to correct it or delete it. The CCPA also gives you the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of your personal information and we make that one easy, because we do not sell or share your information with anyone for money or advertising, and never have. There is nothing to opt out of. If that ever changed, we would tell you first and give you a clear, prominent way to say no.

If you use any of these rights, we will never treat you differently for it — your lessons, your price and our service stay exactly the same. To make a request, email us at hello@powerpromptslab.com with the subject line "Privacy request", and we will respond within 45 days as the law requires.

7. How we protect your information

Your information is sent over encrypted connections and stored with reputable providers who maintain strong security. Sign-in and payments are handled by specialist companies whose whole business depends on keeping data safe. No system is ever perfectly secure, but we keep what we collect to a minimum so there is less to protect in the first place.

8. Children

Power Prompts Lab is made for adults. It is not aimed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

9. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update this page and the date at the top. For any significant change, we will let you know by email before it takes effect.

10. How to contact us

Questions about your privacy? Email us at hello@powerpromptslab.com. A real person reads every message, and we aim to reply within a few days.
